BDI Cares

By July 15, 2020May 3rd, 2023News & Announcements

BDI cares. BDI serves. BDI gives.

Many companies toss around words such as trust or care. We use them often at Barnard Donegan Insurance too. The difference is, for us, saying we care is not just lip service. These are core values that run deep in our business and our bones. As a family-owned, gospel-centered business, caring for each other, our clients, and our community is an edict we take very seriously.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
-1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

Our Employees

We are family—metaphorically and actually. Among our staff, you will find brothers, sisters, cousins, in-laws, and father and son. Some team members have been with us for decades, which feels like family. We are there for each other in a very real way. Each and every member of our team is an essential part of the whole. Each person adds value to our team, and, frankly, we just wouldn’t be the same without each member of the BDI family.

Our Clients

We hear it repeatedly from our co-workers- one of the things they love most about working at BDI is the opportunity to help people. We don’t sell insurance policies; we build relationships with clients that bring value to us both.

Although we pride ourselves on the professional services we provide, relationships in our agency often look different from what one might expect. Many of our staff have prayed with clients, grieved losses with them, and celebrated successes. The true measure of our success is the quality of the relationships we develop with our clients.

Our Community

Our faith implores us to give, and we do happily give back to our community in numerous ways. There are so many wonderful opportunities to help those in need, and we find that giving as a team brings a special kind of joy. Whether it is volunteering at the local Food Bank or collecting contributions for Arms of Hope, giving and serving together is an essential element to being part of our community.

Our company was founded in Seguin, TX, in 1911. Seguin was a small town then, and although it has grown considerably, by most standards, it still is a small town. The small-town values of kinship, family, faith, loving your neighbors, and helping when and where you can are things that we treasure.
